The City of St. Louis is leading preparation of the future NextNGAWest site, a project that began in the summer of 2016 and will last until early 2018. After the site is prepared, the Army Corps of Engineers will oversee construction of the facilities on behalf of NGA. The entire project will be coordinated and connected to the many new investments in St. Louis outlined in the Project Connect Action Plan.

All Site Peparation Contracts by the City of St. Louis have been issued as of late November 2017.

Employment

Construction of the NGA West site will create jobs in many fields and plenty of employment opportunities. The St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) can help you develop the skills you'll need.  If in need of accelerated training SLATE has funding for construction, manufacturing, and logistics training.

Visit the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) for more information on training.
