Streets Winter Weather Preparedness and Response

Clearing our city's streets of ice and snow is a critical function of the Street Division, requiring a multi-pronged approach to help ensure we have the equipment, personnel, and plans in place when winter weather approaches.

  • 12/13/25:
    • Crews are on standby this evening in the event of snow accumulation and our team is monitoring all snow routes.
  • 12/12/25:
    • Crews have continued pretreating snow routes throughout the day.
  • 12/11/25:
    • In anticipation of snow on Saturday, the Street Department will begin pre-treating snow routes on Friday morning.
