Nature of Work
Incumbent in this position is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling the City's Complete Streets Program for a transportation network accommodating users of all modes of travel and persons of all abilities. Duties include: serving as the City's Bicycle/Pedestrian Coordinator and the steering committee chairperson for the City's Complete Streets Program; formulating programmatic goals, budgetary needs, grant applications, action plans and coordinating projects; analyzing crash data and conducting field studies, investigations and inspections and facilitating community meetings and taskforces.

A Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, Traffic or Civil Engineering, or a related field; plus four years of transportation engineering and urban planning experience. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver's license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application and be able to present it at the Oral Interview. Please note type of license, number, class and expiration date on the Employment Application. Applicants who do not possess a Missouri driver's license will be required to present a "Driving Record Check" from their State's Department of Motor Vehicles.
Documentation of academic credentials must be submitted at the time of the Oral Interview.
