Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position are responsible for researching, collecting, summarizing and presenting information for recommending plans for resolving economic development and urban growth related problems.

A Bachelor’s degree in Regional and Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field; plus two years of professional urban and regional planning experience. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Documentation of academic credentials must be submitted with the Employment Application or at the time of the Oral Interview.
License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver's license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application and be able to present it at the Oral Interview. Please note type of license, number, class and expiration date on the Employment Application. Applicants who do not possess a Missouri driver's license must present a "Driving Record Check" from their State's Department of Motor Vehicles.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of 24 CFR Part 58 requirements governing environmental review procedures. Prior experience with HUD single and multifamily housing programs and conducting Tier I and Tier II environmental reviews for CDBG and HOME funded programs.
