  • Minimum: $29,094.00
  • Maximum: $48,438.00

ASE Certified Parts Specialists who have completed all of the following tests: (P1) Medium-Heavy Truck Parts Specialist; and (P2) Automobile Parts Specialist through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence will be paid at a minimum annual salary of $32,292.

Nature of Work

Incumbents in this position are responsible for ordering, stocking and distributing parts used in maintaining and repairing motor vehicles and equipment and maintaining computerized inventory records.

Minimum Qualifications

One year of experience ordering, receiving, stocking, and issuing a variety of automotive, diesel, or construction equipment parts.  Must have experience using a computerized inventory control system.  OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.

LicenseMust possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license while employed by the City of St. Louis.  Must possess a valid driver’s license at time filing application and be able to present it at the time of the Oral Interview.  Please note type of license, number, class and expiration date on the Employment Application.  Applicants who do not possess a Missouri driver’s license must present a “Driving Record Check” from their State’s Department of Motor Vehicles.
