Summary

The bill repeals Ordinance Number 71664, establishing the Thirteenth Ward Liquor Control District and establishes a new Thirteenth Ward Liquor Control District prohibiting the issuance of any package or drink liquor licenses for any currently non-licensed premises within the boundaries of the Thirteenth Ward Liquor Control District, except for those areas specifically described in Section Three which shall be excluded from and shall not be part of the Thirteenth Ward Liquor Control District and shall not be subject to the moratorium provisions of the bill, for a period of five years from the effective date; and the issuance of a drink license to persons operating a restaurant at a previously non-licensed premises.
