Same-Day Permits for Property Damage Repair
Visit the City’s “Hot Spot” desk to get a building permit the same day. Just bring your construction plans to City Hall, Room 425 between noon and 3pm, Monday through Friday. All fees waived for residents in the tornado impact area. Don’t have plans yet? The “Hot Spot” desk is also available for questions or to discuss the process.
Can’t make it to City Hall? Call 314-622-3332 and ask to speak with a plan examiner about your tornado impacted home.
Tax Relief
Apply for Property Tax Relief for Tornado Damaged Property
If your property has been damaged or destroyed, and made "unoccupied and uninhabitable" by a natural disaster, you can apply to have your property tax prorated.
