Office Services

Functions and services provided by the Comptroller's Office.

Under the leadership of the Honorable Darlene Green, the Comptroller's Office of the City of St. Louis provides the following services with the goal of creating a more transparent, accountable and efficient government for city taxpayers.

Accounting Services
The Accounting Services Section of the Comptroller's Office is responsible for all City of St. Louis accounting activities.

Asset Management
Information for the Municipal Garage, Real Estate, Records Retention and the Telecommunications sections of the Comptroller's Office

Contract Administration
Processes and tracks City of St. Louis contracts with outside vendors.

Federal Grants
The Federal Grants Section of the Comptroller's Office administers the disbursement of federal and state grants to various agencies and City of St. Louis departments.

Finance and Development
The Finance and Development Section is responsible for issuing and refinancing city debt and it works to improve the city's longterm credit rating.

Financial Reporting
Prepares external and internal financial reports, tracks cash flow and prepares bank reconciliations.

Fraud Hotline
If you have information regarding fraudulent spending of tax dollars, the Comptroller's Office encourages you to call the Fraud Hotline.

Gateway Transportation Center
Information about the multimodal transit hub in downtown St. Louis, including transit providers, location and amenities.

Internal Audit
The Internal Audit Section of the Comptroller's Office provides objective assurance and advisory services to the departments, offices, and agencies of the City of St. Louis

Payroll Services
Information on city payroll services conducted by the Office of the Comptroller.

St. Louis Municipal Finance Corporation
Information about the City of St. Louis Municipal Finance Corporation, including meeting materials and upcoming meetings.
