The office is composed of three sections: Personal Property, Real Property, and Records & Mapping. All sections work together to accurately identify, list, classify, and appraise all taxable properties in an effort to achieve fairness and equity in values.

07/25/2024 - The City of St. Louis has re-opened applications for the Senior Tax Freeze. The application window will be open until August 31, 2024. -
Senior Property Tax Freeze Credit Applications Closed for 2024
07/01/2024 - Applications are closed for 2024, but will open again next year, and may open later this year for some seniors who do not collect social security. -
Applications for St. Louis Senior Property Tax Freeze Credit Now Live
03/04/2024 - Senior residents can now apply to freeze their property taxes, providing financial relief to those burdened by the rising costs of property taxes.
